March 2024 – “My Two Cents Worth”
In everyday life we use many expressions, phrases & sayings.
In the real estate market it is common to hear them but what do they really mean?
Many of them are really quite apt and have a relevant meaning when applied to the real estate market in Omaha.
“A rising tide lifts all boats…” made famous by John F Kennedy in 1963.
This when related to the Omaha property market is very apt. When a particular sector of the market, like beachfront properties, is buoyant then all other property categories in Omaha will rise accordingly.
Right now interest in beachfront properties is starting to move, more enquiries are being made with new faces being seen in the marketplace which will have a flow on effect on the entire market.
“The penny drops” attributed to the Daily Mirror in 1939, a belated realisation of something after a period of confusion or ignorance.
It really is that simple. Market prices and demand for Omaha real estate is entirely controlled by the beachfront sector.
Right now I have genuine buyers for beachfront properties at all price points. Would you consider selling at the right price?
“In for a penny, in for a pound.”
When it comes to selling real estate around Omaha the above expression clearly indicates my passion as your real estate agent.
This expression indicates the intention of seeing a course of action through, regardless of what it may entail.
It suggests that if one has decided to do something, one may as well do it wholeheartedly… Remember, “A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.”
This proverb means that it is better to hold onto something you have rather than take the risk of getting something better which may come to nothing…
Property Buyers – If you see a property you like and can afford, then make an offer. A better property at this price point may not become available again.
Property Sellers – Consider all offers as a better offer may never eventuate. “A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush”.
Talk to me I am just a telephone call away.
